Our Story
The Creatrix Journey was started in 2021 by writer and coach Claire Winter. Claire feels she has been called by her ancestors to lead and teach in a different way.
Claire is a word creatrix and coach here to help changemakers, walk, connect to the source and share the words that need to be written. As a journalist and wordsmith, words, books and stories have always mattered to her. Weaving stories, ancient knowledge and modern coaching tools together to change the way we live and connect, so that we can build the new earth.
From being deeply connected to nature and the elements and having spent days walking in the lands where she was born Claire felt called to share walking and writing with a wider audience. She’s on a mission to create Creatrix Writing Circles across the world where women can connect and share their wisdom.
And so, The Creatrix Journey was born.
Meet the founder
Claire Winter is a journalist, ICF accredited coach, Nordic Walking instructor, speaker, and award-winning podcaster who loves being out in nature. She is passionate about sharing the healing medicine of walking and writing with people.
She wants to make an impact helping women to connect back to nature, ignite their creativity and share their stories and light with the world. She is on a mission to build a movement of women around the world who create the time and space to walk, write, journal, and create.
Studying Social Anthropology as her first degree Claire has always been fascinated by ritual and ceremony to mark important moments in life. She has spent her time as a journalist telling other people’s stories and now she teaches soul-led entrepreneurs how to use aligned content marketing to promote their business. Her soul’s calling is to help people connect back to nature and themselves to share their innate wisdom with the world.
Claire is a regular columnist for the Female CEO magazine and the host of the Creatrix Journey podcast. She started her career at ITN and was worked in radio, TV, online and in print. She was the editor of the magazine Families which covered Berkshire for eight years.
She truly believes you can walk your way to happiness. She often spends her weekends going on long walks or paddle boarding with her family, friends and dog Leo.
